Description

NHSBT has utilised fixed asset software since 2008 however the OS (Windows 2003) is now redundant and the current contract is coming to an end in April 2024.

NHSBT has reviewed the service and taken the decision to upgrade to a new solution and incorporate a lease module and tracking solution as well as migrating to a cloud-hosted platform as part of the Digital First strategy.

The software will allow NHSBT to have full coverage of its fixed and leased assets and to track depreciation, interest, forecasting, audit history, revaluation and to deal with events like disposals, re-life, impairments, asset-splitting, enhancements and indexations.

It is critical that the software has built-in processes which match NHS Capital Accounting Guidelines for assurance, efficiency and to meet our regulatory requirements.

Following a call off process on RM1557.13 (G Cloud 13), the contract has been awarded via a framework.

Provision of Agent Portal Solution

De Montfort University (DMU) recruits thousands of students from across the world to study at its main campus in Leicester as well as campuses overseas. Currently, a high percentage of these students are recruited in collaboration with international agents who support students through the process and receive a commission should the student go on to enrol at DMU. DMU does not, as yet, have an efficient system to receive and process applications submitted via agents and is currently heavily reliant on manual excel and document uploads to SAP which, when applications are in their thousands, is a time-consuming and inefficient model. DMU therefore now require an 'off-the-shelf' Agent Portal Solution, already in operation at UK HE and/or overseas institutions and must come with the potential for integration with SAP, to facilitate this future area of development for the University. Additional information: All details relating to this procurement opportunity can be found within the Invitation to Tender documentation for the Provision of Agent Portal Solution, DMU Contract Reference 2153/24, uploaded to the InTend e-tendering portal at: https://in-tendhost.co.uk/demontfort/aspx/Home. This represents an Open Tender process and the closing date for receipt of Tender responses is Friday 3rd January 2025.
