Description
The University of Bristol’s Wolfson Bioimaging Facility based in the Faculty of Life Sciences has a long-established reputation for electron microscopy, including applications of transmission EM that align with its light microscopy facilities (e.g. for CLEM) and with the GW4 cryo-EM facility for structural biology. Rejuvenating and consolidating its transmission electron microscopy (TEM) requirements onto a single instrument are established priorities for the facility to provide TEM capabilities for a broad range of users from different research disciplines. The opportunity to purchase a multi-purpose TEM has arisen following the award of a BBSRC ALERT 22 grant.
