Description

London Borough of Enfield awarded the contract to an experienced and qualified service provider with a proven track record to deliver environmental enforcement and support delivery of Council Priorities through:

- Contributing to the Labour Manifesto pledge (2022); "Cleaner Streets for Enfield,"
- Contributing to the Council Plan; Investing in Enfield 2023-2026; "Keep our streets and public spaces clean and welcoming"
- Identify and implement any other strategies/projects etc that will support above objectives
- Undertake social value initiatives that support above objectives
- Engage residents and the wider public with regards to changing behaviours through education.
- Where proportionate and appropriate, issue enforcement notices including the issue of fixed penalty notices.
- Prepare prosecution files, for prescribed offences where the evidential tests and public interest tests are met.

Legionella - Water Hygiene

Worcester City Council (WCC) wishes to appoint a competent Contractor for the provision of Legionella Monitoring and the production of water risk assessments across their sites. The Contractor will identify and consider all water related systems which could potentially create a risk to health. Worcester City Council's in-house Property & Asset Management Team is responsible for the strategic and operational management of over 300 properties and sites. There are currently around 70 properties that require water risk assessments carried out every two years. A list of sites can be seen in Appendix 1. Further sites may be added in the future. Properties and sites included in the service range from public buildings (mainly non-housing) and associated structures to depots, offices, community centres, allotments within the local government boundaries of Worcester City Council. The buildings range from Listed Grade I & II, historic parks to contemporary construction and housing. Please see procurement documents for further information. The Council is using the e-procurement portal known as the Proactis Pro-Contract portal https://procontract.due-north.com to conduct this procurement exercise. To gain access to the procurement documents, bidders will need to register their company details at the above website. Once registered, bidders will be emailed a log-in and password which will allow them to gain access to the procurement documents. Bidders will need to search for the invitation under Worcester City Council and then electronically submit an expression of interest and follow the online instructions to view the procurement documents
