Description

We are seeking an on-site multiple weeks' worth of onsite support. We are looking to recruit a small team and not just an individual. We already have PowerBI licenses for this. Training day to summarise to be provided at the end.
Background
Our current reporting is from Oracle Financials.
We wish to implement PowerBI to improve our Financial Management reporting across the Trust.
This will include reporting from Trust Board level down to individual budget holders.
We already have PowerBI licences available from our Trust IT department.
The Trust is organised into Business Units with devolved financial management responsibilities.
- example Business Units (BU's) are Medicine, Surgery, Corporate etc
We have 2 fully-owned subsidiaries, NHFML Ltd (provides Estates, Facilities, new builds etc) and NPC Ltd (a group of GP Practices)
- hence, we have 3 Orgs in Oracle: Trust, NHFM & NPC
Reports are either for the Group i.e. exclude inter-company balances or for BU's which include inter-company balances
Our reporting hierarchy goes from Trust to BU to Directorate to Department to Cost Centre
Our typical budget holder reports are Budget / Actual / Variance for both in-month and year to date, plus WTE budget and actual in-month
1 Improve monthly Finance reporting to BU Boards
Help design improved / standardised month-end BU Board / Specialty / Directorate £ / WTE reports to e.g. Medicine BU Board
To include appropriate summarised info / visuals on WTE/£/trends etc
To include normalisation of previous periods by stripping out certain cost centre / subjective / £ values
Setup Trustwide "base" £ / WTE data with lookups to standard hierarchies
2 Improve monthly Budget Holder reporting
a) Help design improved / standardised reports to include appropriate info / visuals on WTE/£/trends etc
b) Setup daily refresh of Trustwide "base" £ / WTE data from Days 0 to 5
c) Budget holders to see only their cost centres
3 Improve Trust Board reports
Setup Group BU Finance Reports to get budgets / actuals for Finance Director & details underlying this for Finance Managers
4 Train in-house "experts" in PowerBI
Train up to 10 in-house staff so they can setup & amend new reports/visuals/dashboards. We are looking to have onsite support and training from the provider at Northumbria House, Unit 7/8 silverfox way, cobalt business park, Newcastle, NE27 0QJ. We are looking to have this support on site for up to one week, for any questions that may arise within the week for onsite training.
