Description

Supply of Food and Drinks to Sandwell Valley Crematorium 
      
      Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council is inviting tender submissions from suitable suppliers for the supply and delivery of food and drink to the Council, for the Reception Suite and Café at Sandwell Valley Crematorium. It is intended that the contract will provide food and drink requirements for leisure, retail and hospitality functions.
      Lots
      This contract is divided into categories of products (product lots) and suppliers are invited to bid on one or multiple lots where they are able to and are interested in providing the products required. We are seeking to engage one supplier for each lot, therefore, suppliers MUST be able to supply ALL of the line items identified within that lot (see pricing documents). Designated Lots are listed in the specification. 
      Lot 1 - Bakery / Bread/ Cakes/ Cookies/ Bakery Chilled/ Savoury/ Dairy/ Vegan Alternatives/ Sandwich Fillings                           
      Lot 2 -  Frozen Products/ Meats / Misc/ / Frozen Cakes/Desserts / Potatoes/ Savoury
      Lot 3 -  Chilled Meats
      Lot 4 -  Tea and Coffee
      Lot 5 -  Commodities Oil, Commodities - Kitchen Cupboard/ Sauces/ Jams and Syrups/ Tinned products/ Herbs and Spices/ Paper Goods
      Lot 6 -   Confectionary/ Crisps/ Snacks and Nuts
      
      Term of Contract
      The Council proposes to enter into a Contract for an initial term of Two (2) years with a possible extension of a further two years, subject to satisfactory performance.  The anticipated commencement date is 01 December 2023 to 30 November 2025. The council will have the option to extend the contract for a further 2 years subject to satisfactory performance for the period 01 December 2025 to 30 November 2027. 
      
      The Council will be using the In-tend e-Tendering System for this Procurement exercise, please visit https://in-tendhost.co.uk/sandwellmbc to access the Sandwell MBC In-tend Supplier Portal.
