Description

Horncastle Town Council invites tenders for the grass cutting of verges/amenity space throughout Horncastle.

The contract will be awarded for a 1 year period initially with the option to extend by a further year dependent on a satisfactory review at the end of the year, and an acceptable price for any additional areas of grass to be added to the contract being agreed for the subsequent year.

If you wish to tender for the work please submit a total annual contract price as well as a price for carrying out an additional cut of all the grass areas. The decision on whether any additional cuts will be required will be determined by the Town Council. Please state whether prices quoted include/exclude VAT. 

Please could you also provide details of the machinery/equipment you will be using to carry out the contract.

Applicants will need to carry a minimum public liability insurance cover of £5,000,000.

Closing date for tenders is 9am on Tuesday 2nd January 2024.

Tenders will be considered by the Estates Management Committee at the meeting on 31st January 2024. Notification of acceptance/rejection of a bid shall follow this meeting.

Ground Maintenance Works and Biodiversity Enhancements

North Wales Police & North Wales Fire & Rescue Service seek the services of an experienced and qualified contractor who will be able to provide both planned ground maintenance services, reactive work for example tree cutting, and minor works to support the continued tidiness and care of gardens/grassed areas/boarders etc across the estate along with control of invasive species.
