Maintaining the safety of the public and the Council's staff is a key consideration in delivering these works. Often these works require only very basic temporary traffic management measures which are carried out by the in-house teams. However more substantial works or works on busier streets require temporary traffic management works that are beyond their expertise and qualifications and require equipment not held by the in-house teams. For these schemes external specialist contractors are required to carry out the required temporary traffic management. This tender will be advertised via The Chest.
