South Ribble Borough Council is inviting quotations for the design and build of a replacement toddler and junior playground at Hutton Playing Field, Moor Lane, Hutton, PR4 5FE, as detailed more fully in the Specification.  The Council's set budget for this project is £95,000.\r

The deadline for expressions of interest in the opportunity is 5pm Friday 10th February 2023.  Completed quotation documents must be submitted and received via the Chest by no later than 12 Noon Monday 13th February 2023.

LPC Playground Refurbishment

Lambourne Parish Council (LPC) is seeking quotes from suitably qualified contractors to provide and install new play equipment and safety surfacing at our Abridge Village Hall Playground Rm4 1UD. The current Playground is an established facility which is well used by the local community. Some of the equipment has now reached end of life and needs replacing. LPC wishes to receive bids for new innovative play equipment suitable for users up to 11 years old. LPC wish to replace all of the grass within the fenced area with a suitable safety surface of either Bonded Rubber Mulch or Wet Pour subject to costs and budget. This will help to increase the accessibility of the playground throughout the year and reduce the level of annual maintenance that is currently required. This DPS will provide the public sector with a means to leverage Internet of Things (IoT) sensors, data analytics, and machine learning to monitor the health and conditions of buildings, as well as significantly enhance the management and experience of green spaces. By collecting and analysing data on performance, environmental conditions, and usage patterns, solutions will predict potential failures and schedule maintenance proactively. Suppliers appointed to this DPS will harness and deliver Smart Predictive Building Maintenance, Green Spaces and Associated Services solutions. Solutions may include a range of sensors from a range of protocols to collect data on, but are not limited to: • Air quality • Presence • Noise • Light • Moisture • Water temperature and flow • Fill Level (Capacity) • Load • Corrosion • Gas and Electricity Consumption Data collected from IoT sensors across buildings and green spaces provides valuable insights that can inform long-term strategic planning. Public Sector Organisations can use this data to forecast future maintenance needs, budget more effectively, and plan sustainable development projects that align with environmental targets. The DPS will be in two Lots: Lot 1 – Smart predictive building maintenance solutions and associated services Lot 2 – Smart green space solutions and associated services Applications may be made to one or more Lots.
