The responsibility for the installations are spread over a number of Departments within the Council, but the co-ordinating responsibility rests with the Highways and Transportation Department. The majority of the above mentioned stations have telemetry links and the successful contractor will be required to respond to telemetry alarm “call outs” by attending the station both during normal working hours and out of hours.

THE PROVISION OF HV/LV ELECTRICAL INFRASTRUCTURE UPGRADE

HSE have a requirement to increase the available electrical capacity on their western test sites, namely Turncliffe and Diamond Hill areas. HSE have previously invested in increasing the High Voltage (HV) supplies to these areas, to facilitate an increase in the available Low Voltage (LV) capacity. The types of testing carried out in these areas has changed in recent years, with a focus on EV Batteries and Hydrogen as a fuel for vehicles and for energy.
