Description

Onward are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, accredited and experienced Contractor to implement energy efficiency improvement measures. The project scope will consist of approx. 400 Victorian terrace properties in the Kirkdale area of Liverpool. The energy improvement measures will include:Wall insulation systems (External Wall insulation or EWI, Cavity Wall Insulation, and Internal Wall Insulation or IWI) to rear and gable elevations, including outriggers and extensions – front facing elevations excluded, unless by exception.Loft Insulation,Re-roofing, extending and adapting roof coverings, Eaves, Verge and Ridge details, including rainwater goods, fascia’s, and soffits and barge boards.Adapting elevation features and services to accommodate EWI, including narrowing of existing openings,Window and door replacement and upgrade with high performance triple glazing units,Where possible, some instances of underfloor insulation.The aim of the measures is to target an energy

Window & Door Reactive Replacement and Repairs Service Contract

London Borough of Hillingdon (Hillingdon) invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors in relation to entering into an agreement (the Contract) to provide a Window and Door Reactive Replacement, Repair and Service Contract (the Services) for a Five (5) year period with the option to extend for a further Two (2) years. The contract is for the reactive replacement and repairs of windows and doors within Hillingdon’s Housing and Corporate portfolios located in the London Borough of Hillingdon (the Project). The services that will be required will include but not limited to the following related areas: ● Brickwork ● Carpentry and Joinery ● Disabled Adaptations and Minor Works ● Fire Stopping ● Glazing ● Masonry ● Painting & Decorating ● Plasterworks and other finishes ● Scaffolding The portfolio of properties will consist of a mixture of houses, bungalows, blocks of flats, tower blocks, sheltered housing schemes and corporate buildings of various types, construction, and ages. The evaluation process will be carried out internally within London Borough of Hillingdon’s Housing Repairs Team. Factors to be considered by contractors considering tendering for this contract are that their bids will be based on the following weightings: Commercial (Price) - 50% Quality - 50% Contractors will be invited to submit competitive tenders based on an “all-inclusive” basis using the M3 National Housing Federation (M3NHF) Responsive Maintenance and Void Property Works Schedule of Rates v8 with tenderers percentage adjustment. The tendered percentage adjustment will be deemed inclusive of all costs of whatsoever nature including, but not limited to, job and contract preliminaries, profit, overheads, mobilisation costs, materials TUPE costs and all other costs required by the contractor to undertake his obligations under this Contract. Two Year Contract for Roof Repair Services and Minor Works

Clyde Valley Group is procuring a Contract which shall deliver Responsive Maintenance Roof Repair Services and Minor Works throughout Lanarkshire, Glasgow and East Dunbartonshire. The properties applicable to the Contract are described within Tender Document E, and it is intended that that one Provider will be appointed to deliver all requirements for all properties listed in Tender Document E that are located in North Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire, Glasgow and East Dunbartonshire. The properties are anticipated to include sandstone tenement flats, new build modern housing and flats, and post war pre-2000 construction houses and flats. The approximate volume of work and the annual quantity of Responsive Maintenance Roof Repairs and Minor Works is not guaranteed, and may fluctuate depending on the volume of repairs reported by customers of Clyde Valley Group during each year of the Contract. It is the intention of Clyde Valley Group to hold a ‘Contractors Workshop’ Event during the tender period. The Event will be free of charge and shall provide an overview of the requirements, Clyde Valley Group’s aspirations, a summary of the procurement process and information on how to complete the tender documents and submit a bid through the Contract Notice. The ‘Contractors Workshop’ Event will be held at the office of Clyde Valley Group, 50 Scott Street, Motherwell, ML1 1PN at 14.00BST on Wednesday 11th September 2024. The ‘Contractors Workshop’ Event will also provide an in-depth review of the tender document and information Bidders need to provide with their tender.
