Description

This requirement includes, but may not be limited to: • Complete Pruning • Crown Lift • Crown Reduction and Reshape • Hedge Reduction • Tree Inspections • Ivy Removal • Multi-stemmed Shrub Reduction • Pollarding and Coppicing • Stump and Root Treatment • Tree Felling • Tree Removal • Woodland Thinning • and any other works instructed by the Client. Refer to the Procurement Documentation for full details. The Lot Contracts associated with this Competition will deliver measurable social value outcomes in accordance with Procurement Policy Note 01/21 – Scoring Social Value. The successful Economic Operator(s) will be required to support the Contracting Authority's social value objectives arising from this Procurement. Accordingly, Contract performance conditions and/or Award Criteria may relate, in particular, to social value.

We have had a Tree safety survey completed for Ham street Woods NNR. This has highlighted 54 dangerous trees that will need a range of works , from felling to pollarding to monolithing and pruning. Some Ash Trees are present so not al trees can be climbed and will need to use a MEWP. The woods are 10 miles south of Ashford in Kent and have accessible tracks.
