Description

Forest Research are seeking proposals for the services described in the attached document titled CR2023/24/020_Infrastructure_Support_and_Maintenance_Service_Procurement_Specification. 

Your proposal should include the following:

A proposal to address each of the requirements in the document, a maximum of 15 pages in length. 

A presentation to explain how your service is the 'best fit' for this requirement, how you will deliver the service and how you will work with FR. 

A minimum of two case studies and references from other business, ideally similar in nature and/or scale to this requirement.

A commercial spreadsheet to include (a) the costs for each of the service elements (including optional, clearly separated) and (b) a rate card for professional services.

A service credit/penalty regime.

Evidence of Cyber Essentials certification.

The weightings below apply to this requirement and ensure the relative importance of each section is correctly reflected in the overall scores applied. 

60% - non price criteria - relevance and appropriateness of the solution to our requirements and 'fit' of the bidders way of working and delivery, against FR's own objectives and operational needs.

40% price criteria.

The price score and the non-price score will be combined to give the overall tender score for each tender.

All bidder's who confirm their interest by the above deadline will receive a Non-Disclosure Agreement ("NDA"), which they are to sign and return. The signing of this NDA will allow bidders to receive further technical information. If you do not express your interest by this date you will not receive the information required to complete the tender.

Learning Academy Partnership (SW) (LAP) encompasses 19 schools located in Devon and Cornwall with a Head Office in Newton Abbott. The LAP Trust was established in 2012 from its initial inception at Ilsham Academy. Further details regarding bid timescales are noted below but this is advertised as a 60 month contract with a maximum 5 year service: Lines available - Service start date - Various, but mainly mid 2026 (See table in PSQ Document for details) The companies identified from these shortlisting questions to receive the ITT for the Service will then receive a detailed set of requirements. For the purposes of this shortlisting stage bidders should assume that the ITT will include, but is not be limited to; • A managed connectivity service to connect schools anywhere in England • A broadband service for each school based on synchronous connectivity • A 'failover' line • A firewalled service • Filtering and security solution compliant with latest KCSIE regulations • Take over a managed VoIP telephony service for each school to an agreed number of handsets each (see details in PSQ Document) • Support and maintenance service • Full end to end single SLA approach • Management of any 3rd parties required to provide the service • Relevant monitoring, management, and reporting • Full installation and transition service • Value added services Technical interface into the Trusts outsourced support provision Bidders should note the following: • The Trust will provide a standard contract as part of the ITT Pack • There is will not be a requirement for TUPE from existing suppliers.
