Description

Oswestry Town Council are asking companies to submit their tender application for Alterations and Improvements to English Walls Public Toilets.
Oswestry Town Council have carried out the design stage of this project to make alterations to the current public toilet building to also allow the installation of a changing places facility.
Applications that meet the criteria as set out in the tender document will be considered by elected members in October, with the view that the awarded contractor will be selected.
The anticipated start date is November 2023, with the anticipated end date being March 2024.

London Energy require works to 4 area of the Boiler house Roof Please see below description of works. The full spec including photos is available on MultiQuote. Visual and physical barriers to 2no ~8x6m sections of roof Three sunken areas of roof have been patched and waterproofed from above. We now need visual and physical barriers to these areas to stop anyone walking from above. Two ~8x6m areas to be barriered off Requirement: - Paint: Hazard striped paint (yellow and black diagonal lines) to 8x6m area of roof - Barriers: Chain barriers around perimeter, 2 rows, suitable for high winds. - Signage: "Danger, Keep out, fragile roof" signage, or similar 2. Steel re-enforcement to underside of 1 off 4x4m section of steel decking One sunken area of roof has visible deterioration on the steel decking underside. Whilst no one will be walking from above, we want additional strengthening to this area, to mitigate risk of collapse from e.g. snowfall, while also keeping the ability to visually inspect from below. Requirement: - Clean and paint: Clean up and fire proof painting of existing deteriorated area of underside steel decking (approx. 2x3m) - Brackets: Mount several brackets from either steel beam, laid between the ridges, spaced at ~200mm intervals (or alternative suggestion), taking care not to pierce the roof membrane 3. Repair unadhered membrane to upstand. A large area of unadhered roofing membrane is present at the upstand. We now need this to be repaired. Level out flood-prone area An approx. 12x1m area is prone to flooding.
