Description

The New Forest National Park Authority, on behalf of the Forest Farming Group, is 
seeking a consultant and/or individual to work with the group members to make sure 
the New Forest is well positioned to access funding from the new Environmental 
Land Management Schemes.

The Brief 
We are looking for a supplier to manage the work necessary to be able to enter a 
New Forest Higher Tier Countryside Stewardship in place of the existing HLS and to 
progress this CS application with a key focus on the following activities:
1. Work with the FFG and Natural England to write a detailed specification for a 
PA2 feasibility study and co-ordinate obtaining three written quotations for 
preparing the study. 
2. Scoping the requirements of entering into a Landscape Recovery Scheme 
and what further work the FFG may need to undertake to achieve this 
3. Explore the possibility of expanding the existing HLS scheme area to include 
other landowners within and around the Forest.
4. Further research to establish the eligibility of the New Forest Inclosures.
