Description

The EDC seeks to appoint a Supplier to provide expert, professional HR advisory services to support its Executive Team, Director of Corporate Services, Head of HR & Corporate Affairs, Line Managers, and the Chair as required during the life of the contract. 
      
      As a small-medium organisation, the EDC has decided not to deliver all HR services in-house and operates a mixed model where the HR function is delivered through in-house expertise and external support. The DLUHC HR team provide mainly transactional support services (e.g., payroll, new starter preemployment checks), and the EDC occasionally uses other external Suppliers for specialist support related to HR/people matters (e.g., specialist training). The EDC seeks to appoint a contracted Supplier to provide expert, professional HR advisory services that can be accessed as and when required according to demand.

Employee Engagement Platform

Leeds Trinity University has a requirement to put in place a contract with a single supplier for the provision of employee engagement services. The last full colleague survey was delivered in June 2023, and was followed by two pulse surveys in 2024, (with themes of wellbeing and leadership). Building leadership capability is a key feature of the contract to ensure that leaders have the skills and ability to identify concrete actions in support of their own teams' results. To deliver on our Organisational Culture and Transformation priority going forward, we plan to introduce a regular rhythm to colleague engagement and action planning.
