Further to your Interest, the TEC Partnership invite you to tender for the works described within this invitation to tender.  The tender shall conform to the requirements set out in these documents and shall be exclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT).
      
      The invitation to tender is for the appointment of a contractor to undertake Fire Alarm Servicing and Annual Emergency Lighting Inspection for the TEC Partnership.  
      
      The whole tender must be received no later than 12 noon, Wednesday, 7th June 2023. 
      
      The College shall not be under any obligation to accept any tender. 
      
      Tender issued Wednesday 3rd May 2023  
      
      Site Visits 
      Nuns Corner Campus -  Tuesday 9th May 2023.  10.00am 
      Scarborough TEC Campus -  Wednesday 10th May 2023. 11.30am 
      ERC - Bridlington -  Tuesday 16th May 2023. 10am 
      ERC - Beverley & Hull -  Wednesday 17th May 2023. 10am 
       
      Final questions to be asked Friday 26th May 2023 
      Tenders returned on or before, 12 noon, Wednesday 7th June 2023
      Appointment of Contractor Wednesday 7th June 2023
      Pre Commencement Meeting Wednesday 28th July 2023
      Commencement of contract Monday 7th August 2023.

The Contractor will be responsible for delivering the following Fire and Security Servicing to the Trust: a. Fire Alarm Panel b. Intruder Alarm Panel c. Door Access Control d. Emergency Lighting e. Fire Extinguishers & Hoses f. Signalling Remedial Works (included in contract but the Trust reserve the right to award such works to other Contractors and therefore these works are not guaranteed). Demonstrate the ability to deliver the services required in a flexible manner, as to cause minimum disruption to pupils, staff and the day-to-day operations of the school. h. Adhere to all legal and statutory regulations and guidance to ensure compliance and ensure the delivery of services is at the desired level. i. Establish effective management and operational level communication systems at all levels. j. Actively manage the resulting contract including contract review meetings, overall performance of the contract, and management of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and Service Level Agreement (SLA). k. Hold records of all relevant activity, retained for a minimum of 5 years. l. Be responsible for all legal, and health and safety requirements. J. Formulate a schedule of visits to each site, to be agreed with the Trust.

Security Services for Victims of Domestic Abuse

Birmingham City Council invites suitably qualified and experienced suppliers to tender for the provision of a specialist security service for victims of domestic abuse. The purpose of the contract is to support individuals at risk of homelessness due to domestic abuse by implementing tailored security measures, allowing them to remain safely in their homes. Services required include but are not limited to: • Installation of security measures such as locks, panic alarms, fencing, fireproof letterboxes, and reinforced doors. • Home security assessments within 3 working days of referral. • Completion of minor works within 10 working days and major works within 25 working days of authorisation. • Safeguarding reporting and compliance with relevant policies and standards, including Secured by Design and the Birmingham Domestic Abuse Prevention Strategy. • Delivery of social value commitments, including employment and community engagement initiatives. The contract will commence 1st September 2025 for a duration of 4 years.
