Description

The aim of the service is to deliver all essential, additional and enhanced primary care services to all registered patients at the practice, whilst seeking innovation in the provision of integrated primary care services, which align to both the national and local strategic plans.
This contract has been awarded to:
Westend Medical Practice T/A WB Medical Group
Westend Medical Practice trading as WB Medical Practice, Westcotes Health Centre, Fosse Road South, Leicester, LE3 0LP
The full contract value for the duration of the contract is £14.3m
at  2022/23 prices subject to annual price adjustments.  
The contract shall be for a term of ten
(10) years from the Service start date with the option to extend the term by up to another five (5) years beyond the initial 10-year contracted term at the Commissioner's discretion. The contract start date is 1st of July 2023.

COVID-19 vaccination programme – 1 October 2025 to 31 March 2026

Under Direct Award Process B of the Provider Selection Regime Regulations 2023 there is an opportunity for all Potential Suppliers to submit a response to be able to deliver the COVID-19 vaccination service from 1 October 2025 to 31 March 2026. This includes NHS Standard Contract holders, PCN Groupings, single practice PCNs, and Community Pharmacies, GP federations, independent sector providers, charities and other healthcare providers.
