Description

North Wales Police are looking for suppliers who can provide Doctors, Nurses and Technicians with the relevant qualifications and experience to work within our internal Occupational Health Department. There is also a requirement for Specialist Medical Practitioner (SMP) Services. The full requirements are detailed within the tender documentation.
The contract will commence on 1st December 2023 for an initial period of 2 years, with the option to extend for a further 3 years in multiples of 12 months.

This will initially focus on Routine and Sleep EEGs and Physiologist-Led NCS clinics, patients aged 18 and over but may be extended to EEG paediatric cases if required; to also provide adult medical-led Electromyography (EMG) to include complex EMGs.<br/><br/>HHP will identify all the referrals/patients from Primary Care and Specialists who will require an outpatient appointment.<br/><br/>The IS provider will provide EEG, EMG or NCS clinics off-site with their own equipment, physiologists and administration / clinical support worker or at any available outpatient clinic rooms/facilities based at Scunthorpe General Hospital, Hull Royal Infirmary (Clinical Neurophysiology Department based at Gladstone Street site), Castle Hill Hospital or East Riding Community Hospital. Clinics provided on-site at HHP sites will require supporting physiologists, administration or CSW support. Each clinic will be a 4-hour session and the all-day session would be 8 hours session, with AM and PM clinics. Clinics are expected to be delivered between 8AM to 5 PM. Start & finish time of the clinics will be agreed with the IS providers as part of the mobilisation meetings prior to the commencement of the work.<br/><br/>The IS provider will source and provide the Clinical Physiologists, required CWS and/or administrative support for physiology-led and/or medical-led sessions. The sessions will be arranged over the weekends and weekdays with options to be done on-site (HHP Clinic rooms) for weekend sessions if rooms are available in the future.<br/><br/>The IS provider will be required to provide a list of staff & CVs prior to the start of the contract for HHP to approve.<br/><br/>The IS provider will ensure that any staff they provide are suitably qualified and registered with relevant NHS experience and professional bodies RCCP/AHCS/HCPC/GMC Registration, appropriately trained and are fully vetted, having successfully undergone and passed through recruitment employment check processes and clearances (including DBS checks, IR35 Legislation, Reference checks etc).<br/><br/>Physiology-led Clinics<br/>An all-day clinic session will have capacity for 8-10 NCS cases and 5-6 EEGs. Clinic slots will be adjusted depending on what type of tests will be booked in 1 day plus the reporting time. (CTS/UNE 45 mins/slot PN 1 hour/slot, Routine EEGs 1hr 15 mins/slot, Sleep EEGs 1 hour and 30 mins/slot).<br/>NCS/EEG = minimum 6 clinics (3 full days) per month<br/><br/>EMG Clinics<br/>An all-day clinic session should have capacity for a minimum of 10 non-complex EMG, complex EMG conditions criteria will be agreed with the IS provider and slot timings will be negotiated with the IS provider.<br/>EMG = minimum of 24 clinics (12 full days)

PSR Competitive Procedure for the Provision of Insourced Neurology OP Services for Humber Health Partnership (HHP) on behalf of Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and Northern Lincolnshire & Goole NHS Foundation Trust<br/>CPV: 85121200-5 Medical Specialist Services<br/>Contract for the period 01/04/2025 to 31/03/2026 with option to extend for a further 3 months.<br/>Estimated contract value £600,000 for the initial 12 month term (£750,000 inc. 3mth extension option).<br/><br/>HHP plan to work in partnership with an Independent Sector (IS) Provider to facilitate provision of additional neurology outpatient clinics in support of a focussed backlog clearance programme. The IS provider will offer appropriately qualified and experienced Consultant Neurologists along with appropriate Healthcare Assistants (HCA) to support additional Neurology outpatient activity that is to be delivered. This will initially focus on General Neurology and Epilepsy both Face to Face and telephone clinics, for patients aged 18 and over. This may be extended over to other areas such as headache if required. <br/><br/>HHP Clinical Admin Team will book the patients. An all-day clinic session will have capacity for 14 New patient slots to include clinical correspondence dictation. The sessions will be arranged initially over the weekends with options to be explored for weekday sessions in the future.<br/><br/>Patients sent to the IS Provider will include general Neurology and epilepsy patients.<br/>Patients excluded include dystonia, dementia, CNS/Brain Cancer, urgent epilepsy (1st seizures), movement disorder and neuromuscular pathways will be excluded from this agreement. The clinic bookings will be made according to the service need.

The 0 to 19 (up to 25 years with SEND) Public Health Nursing Service in Lancashire is essentially the universal Health Visiting and School Nursing service offer. The service delivers the national Healthy Child Programme requirement - core statutory / mandated functions. Health visitors support families from the antenatal period up to school entry. The service is delivered in a range of settings including families' own homes, local community or primary care settings. School nurses offer year-round support for children and young people both in and out of school settings. The anticipated Service Commencement Date is 01/10/2025. The contract shall have an initial period of five years with a right to extend the contract for up to 36-months beyond the initial term by any number of defined periods as long as the total contract term does not exceed eight years.
