Local residents have told the Town Council that it is important to have a place to rest, get some refreshments and use the facilities provided when having a long walk across Seaford Head. The site offers the use of the courtyard of South Hill Barn for a non-fixed refreshment concession with use of the side barn for undercover seating for customers to enjoy their purchases out of any weather elements. Dane Road Promenade, along Seaford Seafront, is a stunning location right at the centre of the sweeping Seaford Bay. Just a five-minute walk from Seaford Train Station, this popular site encompasses the striking presence of Seaford Head and the cliffs on the eastern side, and Newhaven Harbour with Mount Pleasant in the distance on the western side.
