Description
The focus of this procurement requirement resulting from the establishment of the new Buckinghamshire Community Mental Health Framework is on people living in their communities with long-term severe mental illnesses, whose needs are deemed too severe for Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) but do not have comorbid psychiatric diagnoses severe enough to meet secondary care 'thresholds' for treatment and/or are unwilling/unable to engage in personality disorder-specific treatments offered in secondary care. A service is required to support a specific patient cohort, namely those with a complex personality disorder presentation across numerous statutory and non-statutory services. Individuals are likely to be frequent attenders at primary, secondary and emergency care. In addition they are likely to have complex social needs which result in frequent and often difficult contacts and negotiations with organisations involved with housing, education, CJS amongst others Additional information: Tender documents are available though the NHS Sourcing Tender portal at https://www.nhssourcing.co.uk/web/login.html .where prospective suppliers should register. All correspondence should be conducted through the messaging portal on NHS Sourcing. NB. The final contract was substantially delayed in its signing due to a series of operational and contractual discussions. The tender was treated as LTR .
