Your response to this invitation to tender must be received up to the closing time on the date and in the place shown above. Your tender shall be submitted in a sealed envelope or package, marked with the tenderers name for the attention of the Town Clerk and the invitation to tender title: Design, Supply and Installation of Playground Equipment at Bourton Park, Buckingham.

A site visit is recommended especially in terms of access to the site.
On the award of the contract the successful Contractor will have been deemed to have undertaken any additional site investigations they consider necessary. No claims will be accepted for lack of information or inaccuracies in this respect.

Buckingham Town Council (BTC) is seeking a qualified and reputable (a member of the association of play industries) play company to design, supply and install toddler play area equipment at Bourton Park. Buckingham MK18 7AB on the provisions as set out in the attached document.

Yate Town Council Peg Hill Skatepark Refurbishment Project

Yate Town Council is seeking to appoint a contractor to design and build the refurbishment of the existing Peg Hill Skatepark. The anticipated budget for this project is £450,000 excluding VAT; this value is inclusive of a 10% contingency budget (£45,000). Full procurement description is included within the Peg Hill design brief, however, please find below the project priorities and design specification: The Peg Hill Skate Park refurbishment seeks to achieve the following priorities: a. Provide a 25year life cycle (minimum); b. Use of sustainable, hardwearing materials with long life cycles that are resistant to climate change (extreme wet/ heat) and anti-social behaviour; c. Improved health and safety, areas for weather shade, materials that are low heat conducting d. Low impact on the climate and planet, refurbishing/ reusing/ recycling as much as possible; using materials and practices that are sustainable e.g. low carbon footprint, chemical free, supportive of the local economy and local workforce; e. Value for public investment, a design with low maintenance and risk of repair; f. Expansion of inclusive features e.g. disability, neurodiversity, making space for girls; g. A design suitable for varying abilities and disciplines - beginner to advanced level users, for large and small wheels; h. Refurbishment works must commence on site in Spring 2026 and conclude by 30th September 2026. Tenderers are asked to submit proposals for a refurbishment design of Peg Hill Skate Park that: a. Respond to the priorities outlined in the public survey (Appendix 2, question 7.a within design brief and Project Priorities above. b. Takes place within the current footprint of the skatepark, making best use of the space available, and popular features that could be refurbished/ retained (designs should not include any equipment that requires planning permission, or that exceeds planning and/or safety restrictions, such as permitted development. If post contract signing, design revisions are required to meet planning and/or safety requirements, costs incurred will be the responsibility of the supplier, not Yate Town Council (as per the JCT Design & Build contract clause 2.17.1) c. Retains a below ground bowl feature, identified in a public survey as a high priority; d. Incorporates the most popular design features, identified in the phase 2 public survey (questions 6 and 7, appendix 2 within design brief). Suppliers may also wish to take inspiration from the skate parks identified in question 7, appendix 2 within design brief) e. Emphasises creativity and the importance of allowing for varying levels of interaction with the skateable features, to support varying levels of confidence and ability. The site location and area for works is outlined within the design brief document.

EBC EC Oatlands Recreation Ground Sand Pit and Play Equipment

1.1 Elmbridge Borough Council is approaching the market with a view to install items of play equipment and associated Wetpour surfacing, the design, build and creation of a new sand pit in the old paddling pool and removal of the existing sand pit. Suppliers are invited to visit the site prior to submitting a detailed response to ensure they satisfy themselves with the site and requirements to be able to submit an innovative response that ensures compliance and value for money.
