Description

Southend on Sea City Council are seeking to engage experienced and qualified organisations for the provision of servicing, responsive repairs and maintenance to commercial and domestic gas and heating plant and equipment and responsive repairs to plumbing and kitchen plant and equipment within public buildings and schools in Southend on Sea.  This procurement has been divided into 2 lots:
Lot 1 is for the appointment of a gas safe registered mechanical supplier for the provision of servicing, responsive repairs and maintenance to commercial and domestic gas and heating plant and equipment under a JCT Measured Term Contract 2016 Edition.  The Council are seeking to appoint one service provider for this Lot.
Lot 2 is for the appointment of an organisation for the provision of responsive repairs to plumbing and kitchen plant and equipment under a JCT Measured Term Contract 2016 Edition.  The Council are seeking to appoint one service provider for this Lot.
The aim of the contract is to provide quality services to responsive repairs and planned maintenance by suitably qualified engineers. Objectives include adhering to priority response time and managing a planned maintenance programme. The main outcomes are to ensure a reliable suitably accredited and qualified contractor is employed to ensure the plant and equipment remain reliable and compliant to relevant H&S legislation and British standards.

Norwich City Council ((NCC) is seeking to appoint a single contractor to deliver a long-term Compliance Services Contract covering (but not restricted to) statutory inspection, testing, servicing, maintenance, repairs and associated upgrades across its housing stock and communal areas. The primary CPV code for this procurement is 50710000 (Repair and maintenance services of electrical and mechanical building installations), with additional relevant CPV codes covering specialist workstreams including legionella risk assessments, refuse chute cleaning, fire alarm systems, electrical installations and mechanical engineering works. The services are to be delivered across Norwich and the wider Norfolk area. NCC reserve the right to cancel the procurement and not to proceed with the Contract at any stage of the procurement process. NCC also reserves the right not to award the Contract. Neither NCC nor any person on whose behalf this procurement is undertaken is to be liable for any costs incurred by those expressing an interest or tendering for the Contract.
