Description

As part of the council's efforts to modernise and simplify the network, direct internet circuits are required for a number of sites. These sites have differing sizes and usage patterns and hence different network connectivity requirements. The service provision at each site will fall into one of 3 types:
- Direct Internet circuit only
- Internet circuit with single a wifi access point
- Internet circuit with IPSEC VPN connecting to the corporate network
The Council invites bidders registered on Lot 1 and 2 of the CCS Network Services 2 Framework RM3808 to submit a cross lot tender to provide these services as set out in the tender documents for an initial period of five years commencing March 2023.

The Department of Finance - IT Assist wishes to establish a Framework Agreement for Disposal Services for IT equipment, electronic and electrical equipment for use by the Northern Ireland Public Sector including Northern Ireland Civil Service Departments, Agencies and Non Departmental Public Bodies. Unauthorised disclosure of information / sensitive data is a major risk mainly due to the increasing dependence on electronic storage systems and the use of disposable media. Organisations have therefore developed asset disposal strategies that can require data to be deleted from media and equipment sometimes prior to its permanent removal from site for disposal and/or recycling or for assured data destruction. The framework therefore seeks to appoint Suppliers to; securely and irreversibly delete data from a range of media either on the customer’s premises or offsite; and securely and legally dispose of redundant information and communications technology equipment and media. Once the Framework Agreement has been established, secondary competitions will be completed for each disposal required. The Framework period is for 4 years. Digital Preservation Systems DPS

The Dynamic Purchasing System is being established by Jisc to provide Digital Preservation System solutions to institutions. Institutions generate, consume and keep enormous amounts of Digital Information (“Data”). In order to ensure the long-term sustainability and access to such Data, institutions make use of Digital Preservation (DP) systems to keep the Data both safe (bit preservation) and usable. Digital preservation is a relatively complex process requiring significant storage and processing power. This DPS will enable HEIs and other institutions to be able to efficiently procure Digital Preservation Systems in a way that is compliant with the Public Contract Regulations 2015.
