Decarbonisation Framework

This Framework is being procured by Places for People Group and Procurement Hub for the benefit of itself and its Members. This Framework is available for use by public sector bodies (and their statutory successors) as defined in the Procurement Act 2023 and additionally listed online at: http://www.procurementhub.co.uk/eligibility-criteria/ The decarbonisation Framework is designed to support the delivery of retrofit and energy efficiency measures across Places for People’s domestic assets as well as Procurement Hub members. This represents an entirely new framework, designed to ensure that PfP has access to a robust supply chain of qualified and experienced service providers. It is necessary to meet statutory obligations under the Future Homes Standard and to support PfP’s carbon reduction commitments. PfP is recipient of grant funding streams, and the framework will establish specialist delivery mechanisms and supply chain to capitalise on further future funding. Multiple entities within the Places for People Group will have a requirement for the works covered, including Places for People Homes, Procurement Hub, Future Homes Consortium and Origin Housing. Decarbonisation framework for a range of consultants and contractors to provide services and works to decarbonise housing stock. Investigation of regulated tidal exchange and water level control structures for management of saline lagoons at North Killingholme Haven Pits Site of Special Scientific Interest, North East Lincolnshire

North Killingholme Haven Pits SSSI is near Immingham, North East Lincolnshire, on the south bank of the Humber Estuary (central grid reference TA1662919816). The privately owned,16ha, site comprises former clay pits which have developed into saline lagoons. It is within the Humber Estuary Special Protection Area/Ramsar site and is of international importance for non-breeding waterfowl. The site is connected to the Humber Estuary by a manually operated sluice in the flood bank, which allows for the regulated exchange of tidal water. The sluice is over 50 years old and is not fully functioning due to siltation, and health and safety concerns regarding its operation. The aims of the investigation are to survey the existing water level control structures on site, and appraise the options for management of water levels to achieve the site objectives. Outputs include a levels survey, concept designs and estimated costs for each option and associated actions. Site surveys are required. Technical and practical expertise is required. This is difficult terrain due to tidal mudflats and open water. There is also a working railway line. A site-based risk assessment will be required to be submitted to Natural England. Contract to start 1 September 2025, with final report to be submitted by 1 March 2026.

South Ken Zen+ Heat and Energy Project

We are posting this notice on behalf of the Exhibition Road Cultural Group. They are looking for experienced sustainability consultants to conduct a piece of work that will help our neighbourhood in Kensington to decarbonise heat and energy. The 22 Exhibition Road Cultural Group organisations are working together to become a zero emissions, nature positive neighbourhood through the South Ken ZEN+ programme. To reach our ambitious goals, we need to explore transformational opportunities for low carbon/zero carbon energy sources, projects and funding across the neighbourhood. This could include heat networks and other shared solutions, or individual solutions, to energy generation. The Exhibition Road Cultural Group is inviting tenders to support the members in a neighbourhood approach to decarbonising heat and energy with a focus on accessing further funding and exploring opportunities by: o Mapping and collating existing funding and project opportunities o Establishing a baseline of energy and heat demand across the members o Collating a systems inventory across members with coordinated timelines. Please note this is not a V&A contract or procurement process. We are posting this notice to help the ERCG reach a wide range of providers.
