Description

Further to the PIN with call to competition, NHS Sussex Integrated Care Board (ICB) has awarded (effectively extending the existing contract) to Pioneer Ltd for both localities. The extension will be for a period of up to 24 months from 1st April 2023 to 31st March 2025.
Contract = £3,600,000 per annum x 2 = £7,200,000 (maximum value and contract length)
Since no expressions of interest were received, the Authority has entered a contract with the incumbent provider relying upon a Regulation 32 exemption of no response/no requests to participate have been submitted in response to this notice, within 30 days of publication.

Retender Greater Essex Individual Placement and Support for Severe Mental Illness (IPS for SMI)

Essex County Council as lead commissioner is seeking to procure a service for Individual Placement and Support for Serious Mental Illness (IPS for SMI). The IPS for SMI is an employment support service integrated with secondary care mental health services to assist people who experience severe mental health conditions to find paid work. ECC is the lead commissioner for this service on behalf of the three ICBs in Essex, namely Mid and South Essex (MSE), Hertfordshire and West Essex (HWE ), and Suffolk and North East Essex (SNEE). The contract value for a potential 5 year duration is capped at £1,600,000 per annum or £8,000,000 for 5 years. The service is expected to deliver IPS access to 1244 unemployed people aged 18 or over, each contract year.

Tender for Strategic Partner: Delivery of Residential and Nursing Care in Gloucestershire County Council Estate.

Gloucestershire County Council are seeking to procure a partner for the delivery of Residential and Nursing Care Services in 5 homes. The authority intends to award Master Service Agreement (MSA) A five-year contract commencing on 01 February 2026 and expiring on 31 January 2031, with the option for the agreement to be extended by up to five years initially and then for further periods of up to five years if mutually agreed by the Parties such that the Expiry Date is the last day of the current extended Term, provided always the Expiry Date shall be no later than 31 January 2040. This contract is being procured under the Light Touch Regime. The Council will issue statements of services for the first five homes and the Council may issue statements of services for further Homes in the future depending on requirement. The Council may, during the term of the contract require services be provided at additional Homes. In the event that the Council issues a Statement of Services for one or more Homes in addition to the initial tranche of five Homes, the Statement of Services Fee will be based on the prices stated in the Pricing Schedule, taking into account the indexation applied by the Council to its bed rates in the period from the Commencement Date plus any other reasonable increases in the Provider's pricing due to external factors such as minimum pay rates and inflation. The preliminary market engagement was conducted ( over 12 months) prior to the commencement of the Procurement Act 2023; a Preliminary Market Engagement Notice was therefore not published

Shared Lives Services

This is a multi-lot, multi Supplier Framework. The Service is the provision of long-term Shared Lives Placements in and around Glasgow City for adults aged 18+ and Shared Lives Respite Placements for adults and young people age 16+, including young adults in transition from children’s services to adult services, and who have: -physical disabilities and/or sensory impairments -learning disabilities and/or autistic spectrum conditions -mental health needs -any combination of the above Providers require to be innovative in the delivery and promotion of the Service and have a strong plan to deliver a Shared Lives Service for Individuals requiring support. Providers are required to remain knowledgeable about the latest developments in Shared Lives Services nationally, through membership of Shared Lives Plus, the national charitable coordinating body for Shared Lives Services. Providers will have a vision that fits with the ethos underpinning Shared Lives, in line with Care Inspectorate requirements and Shared Lives Plus good practice guidance. The development of positive links within the local community is of key importance and as such, Providers will be competent in linking into local resources and ensuring the Shared Lives Service is well connected in the communities where individuals in Shared Lives Placements are based. Providers will work in partnership with Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP) social work, health and commissioning staff, other Shared Lives Providers on this Framework, as well as specialist health inpatient staff from NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) when appropriate to successfully deliver the Service and expand the number of Long Term Shared Lives Placements and Shared Lives Respite Placements in and around Glasgow City.
