Description

Leicester Forest East Parish Council invite tenders from suitably skilled contractors for the design, supply and installation of a Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) on an existing tarmacked area to the side of the Parish Hall. The MUGA must have enclosed goal ends and a 3m high fence all the way around it.

The existing area is 14.5m by 29.5m and the Parish Council would like a MUGA to fill that area, or as near to that size as possible.

Additionally, the existing metal goal will need to be removed and the whole 14.5m by 29.5m area should be tarmac skimmed.

All precautions to protect the integrity of the site and adjoining paths, car park and properties must be taken. The public must not have access to any of the contractor's items and materials being used as part of the contract. The contractor shall safeguard the works with temporary barricading of a "Heras" type of at least 2 metres in height. The fence panels shall be constructed so that they deter climbing and will be anchored into freestanding concrete/rubber blocks, the panels locked to prevent unauthorised access. The fence to be installed before commencement of works and removed from the site following completion of all works including ground reinstatements.

All waste must be removed from the site and disposed of responsibly and all relevant legislation and British Standards will be adhered to.

A copy of your risk assessment, for the site, must be provided to the Clerk before commencement of works.
