Description

The short break care offer for families in Richmond and Kingston has two elements: specialist or assessed support for children and young people with complex needs; and universal or unassessed services. This procurement is for the universal or unassessed Short Breaks offer. That is to say that this procurement is for commissioned universal services that do not include overnight respite or specialist care. 
To be eligible for the universal programme, children and young people must have a diagnosed disability, be aged between 4-17, and live in either Richmond or Kingston borough. Children who are eligible for specialist (assessed) short break care can additionally access the universal programme. 

This procurement opportunity requires providers to have building based provision in either/or both Kingston and Richmond Boroughs.

The requirement is divided in Lots and Sub-Lots. Please see the tender documentation for further details.

Contract(s) will be for an initial term of two years with one 12 months extension period available to be taken at the discretion of AfC.

Derby City Council is tendering for CQC registered Outcome focussed Home Care Services including TEC enabled Care for Adults, 18 years and over who are resident in Derby and meet the eligibility criteria for Derby City Council. Bidders who pass the Stage One (Conditions of Participation) checks will be invited to a Stage two process where they will be asked to submit responses to a number of Working Methods questions (Quality Evaluation). These questions will only be provided during the Stage Two process. Bidders must be registered with the CQC for the provision of Homecare services and must have a rating of "Good" or "Outstanding". Bidders who have a rating of "Requires Improvement" will be accepted provided their most recent inspection was over 3 years ago and they can provide evidence of an acceptable improvement plan. Bidders must have or commit to having an office base within 10 miles of the Derby city boundary in time for contract commencement. IN ALL OTHER SCENARIOS BIDDERS WILL FAIL THE INITIAL STAGE ONE CHECKS OF THE PROVIDER SELECTION QUESTIONNAIRE. A Framework Agreement for the Supply and Maintenance of Telecare Equipment

North Hertfordshire District Council requires high quality assistive technology solutions to support people to establish, maintain or regain independence both in and away from their home setting, increasing successful early supported discharges from hospital, supporting people to maintain personal safety, to build confidence and to improve their physical and mental wellbeing. North Hertfordshire District Council’s Herts Careline service works in partnership with Hertfordshire County Council to supply, maintain and monitors alarms for over 9000 service users across Hertfordshire. Of these users, approximately 5000 sites have assistive technology to support users with complex needs. Additionally, 500 users utilise our away service, taking technology out of the home with them in Hertfordshire and beyond. On average, our team of technicians complete 150 new installations each month. Herts Careline provides plug and play alarm kits to twenty (20) hospitals and professional services to support early discharge in Hertfordshire. The Council intends to procure a multi-supplier Framework Agreement divided into three Lots.
