Description

Based on the Chesterfield Royal Hospital site, the Hartington Unit is one of the Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust's main inpatient service for residents with acute mental health needs. The Hartington Unit consists of three adult acute inpatient wards and works are to be carried out in each ward on a rolling programme. The works include the removal of dormitory bay curtaining and the installation of part height partitions to divide each dormitory. The wards and Unit will remain fully operational 24/7 during the works programme and tenderers will have to provide evidence of experience of working in a mental health hospital. Working hours may be limited to between the hours of 9.00am - 5.00pm. No lone working of any type will be allowed.

Multiple Supplier Framework to deliver the design and build aspects of the ​Internal Works to Houses and flatted properties Framework​. The non-binding target is that each framework contractor would receive approximately GBP3-5Million of work turnover per year. The framework contractors will also be required to perform to the council's key performance indicator targets, and community benefits expectations (described elsewhere)
