Description

The successful Supplier will be required to provide cleaning services for Westcountry Schools Trust at the following schools:
      •South Dartmoor Community College
      •Wembury Primary School
      •Oreston Community Academy
      The contract will commence on 1 September 2020 for a period of 3 years, with a possible extension of 2 years by mutual consent and on the same terms and conditions as the original contract.  The contract will be fixed price for the term of the contract.

Weald of Kent Grammar School ~ Cleaning Tender

Weald of Kent Grammar School is a large sized selective grammar school, with academy status for girls aged 11–18 and co-educational sixth form for students aged 16–18. The school operates across two campuses located in Tonbridge and Sevenoaks, Kent and boasts state of the art facilities. The tender project is seeking to appoint a Contractor whose initiative and innovation will be welcomed for the provision of service within the existing facilities for the approximate 600 students at our Sevenoaks campus and 1500 in Tonbridge, with 200 teaching and support staff who work across both. The contract being tendered is for three years in duration from August 2025 and will operate as a Guaranteed Performance Contract. The school year is based on a calendar of 195 days. Five days are to be used for staff professional development which means that School will be open to receive students for the legal minimum of 190 days. The contract offered covers the scope for the provision of all cleaning services within the school, which currently includes: Sevenoaks Campus -3 Floor building which includes DT, Science, Food and general classrooms, dance studio, sports hall, main hall, dining hall and office space. Approx. Square Metres: 6507 Tonbridge Campus -The school has six, multi-storey stand-alone buildings (named as Main Building, Maths, Humanities, New Science, Sports Hall and 6th Form Hub). These buildings house educational, dining, sport and office facilities. Approx. Square Metres: -Eng/Hums: 3149 -Main Build: 5325 -Maths: 1113 -Sports Hall: 1837 -New Science 720 -New classrooms 224 Whilst the School prioritises value for money as a key objective of the Competitive Tender Process, the Governing body is not obliged to accept the lowest price. The value of the current contract: Tonbridge Contract Cost: £156,588.41 Sevenoaks Contract Cost: £58,745.83 Total Contract Value = £646,000.00 Weald of Kent expects the successful contractor to enable the continued development of cleaning services. Star Academies Building Cleaning Services

The Trust (Star) is looking to appoint a single Supplier for each Lot, or a single supplier covering both Lots, for the supply of building cleaning services. The Lots are detailed below and Suppliers are invited to bid for one or both lots. Lot 1 - Small Heath Leadership Academy (SHLA) Lot 2 - Star King Solomon Academy (SKS) Star’s objective is to create a clean and professional learning environment to support our pupils’ education provision through both day-to-day cleaning, and deep cleaning provision throughout school holidays. The supplier/s selected will be able to provide building cleaning services (excluding external window cleaning) as detailed in Schedule 1 - Specification of the Tender Document Ref: STAR/2025/CLEAN, for a maximum of 4 years (an initial 2 years plus a potential two 12-month extensions). Whilst the tender will be used as a basis for future works and pricing, the Trust are looking to engage supplier/s who will work collaboratively and tailor their approach, so that they are able to meet the specific needs of the Trust. More detailed specification requirements are outlined in Schedule 1 - Specification. Currently this provision is managed by an outsourced provider for each Lot.
