Description

Health Education and Improvement Wales (HEIW) has undertaken a strategic review of commissioned health professional education and training across NHS Wales. HEIW commissions both pre-registration and post-registration qualifications for the NHS Wales workforce. HEIW identified a requirement to commission critical care education. This education will support the national upskilling of existing health professionals to meet the recommendation of the Welsh Government’s Task and Finish Group on Critical Care (2019) that critical care education and opportunities are explored to improve retention of current staff. In addition, this education will meet the Guidelines for the Provision of Intensive Care Services (GPICS), Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine (FICM) and the Intensive Care Society (ICS)

Group Clinics Support - H&G Accelerators

NHS England wishes to engage specialist support in setting up group clinics, for the purposes of the NHS developing its role in work coaching i.e. to report to NHS England if and how NHS-provided work coaching might be delivered in a group rather than one-to-one model. This requirement is to purchase scoping (development) support from an expert in group clinics in NHS settings. This requirement does not include establishing or evaluating group models for work coaching. It is scoping to inform those subsequent opportunities. The context is that, while there exists evidence of group clinics delivering improved (or at least equivalent) outcomes across many pathways, there is an absence of evidence for their use in NHS-led support for employment, such as work coaching. This project will provide hands-on scoping support (defined in section C below) to the three ICB Health and Growth Accelerators. This will identify which of their work coaching or similar support might be suitable for a group approach, how those should be designed, and to work through practical implementation details. Workforce Development Services for Care Providers in Suffolk

The overarching requirement of this service is to support the care market regarding the forecast of the future needs of Suffolk customers. To increase awareness of good practice, have a stable workforce, encourage a positive culture with increased staff retention. To work with the council to identify and address gaps in the Suffolk social care workforce skills and training to enable them to deliver a range of care and support, from promoting independence to complex care. And work closely and positively, with all stakeholders to improve market capacity and better equipped to develop and be sustainable. Suffolk County Council has joined the government's Devolution Priority Programme (DPP), a fast-track programme towards devolution and local government reorganisation. Under the DPP it is proposed that: a) a Mayoral Combined County Authority (MCCA) for Norfolk and Suffolk is established, with strategic powers and headed by an elected mayor ("Devolution"). b) the existing two-tier council structure in Suffolk is abolished and replaced with one or more unitary councils covering the current geographical boundary of Suffolk ("LGR"). It is possible that both, one or neither of these changes will happen. These changes are declared as known risks as we do not yet know the implications of Devolution and/or LGR. As a result of LGR and Devolution, contract modifications may be necessary to novate, transfer or disaggregate the contract from the one you entered into to one or more successor authorities or the MCAA. Impacts could include changes to geographical boundaries, significant increases and/or decreases in the goods and/or services required due to the change in size/scope of any successor authority or the MCAA. NEET Prevention and Early Intervention Services

The Authority is looking to appoint a single Supplier to provide services to: Support young people in Liverpool aged 16-17 and those aged up to 25 with an Education, Health, Care Plan, (EHCP) who are not in education, employment or training (NEET) with the aim of moving those young people into appropriate positive activity. Support young people who have been identified at risk of NEET, in Year 11, as directed by the authority, as part of the NEET Prevention Strategy.
