Description

Thurrock Council is seeking to commission a multiple provider Select List to deliver a range of statutory Short Breaks services for some of the most vulnerable Children and Young People in Thurrock.

The Select List will supply direct services across two lots, listed below:

Lot 1 - Individual Support Services
Lot 2 - Residential Short Breaks

Please note this contract (Select List) started in 2019. The Select List has the option to open for new applications on an annual basis. This exercise is the first re-opening of the Select List.

The value provided in section 1 of this notice is the full four year value (the original contract is for 3 years with the option to extend for a further  1 year). There will be 2 + 1 years remaining from 1st April 2020.

Provision of an independent domestic abuse support service

The Council of the London Borough of Redbridge ("the Authority") are seeking Tenders from suitably experienced and qualified organisations for the Contract for the provision of an independent domestic abuse support service. In addition, the provider shall provide or signpost to a range of advice and information on a variety of other local resources, and where to go for help and support in getting: • An assessment for statutory care • Support around benefits and financial advice and support, including information on an individual case basis and how to maximize their financial income. • Information on other local resources to support specific to their needs and other areas identified, such as mental health support. • Information, support and advice to carers around carers rights, to enable them to address their own needs. • Signposting to legal, immigration, and housing advice where appropriate. • Health and wellbeing services • Information about advocacy available. • Signposting and support. • Information about the training available to support individuals to carry out their caring role. • Support with emotional and mental health issues including stress, anxiety and bereavement. The duration of the contract will be for forty-eight (48) months with the option to extend by a further 12 months (12), total maximum contract length will be sixty months (60). The budget available, over the potential five-year contractual period, including any extensions is £566,666.65. The contract value per annum is therefore, £113,333.33.
