Fire Suppression System for Caister Waste Transfer Station

Norfolk County Council is seeking to let a contract for the provision of Fire Prevention Services for Caister Waste Transfer Station including a fully monitored fire suppression system. The expected contract commencement date is 13 August 2025. The installation completion date for phase 1 is as soon as possible but by no later than 31 January 2026. Warranty, maintenance, servicing and repair of phase 1 will commence the date of handover of Phase 1 and extend to include phase 2 on handover of phase 2. November 2022 Email exchange and a meeting with a company providing fire protection systems. This followed advise from site operators already using this type of system. July 2022 Meeting with a company installing fire fighting systems. The information provided at these events was used to explore our options on what is available in the market place and help inform our specification of requirements.
