Description

Boxfish are an energy consultancy company and seek established licensed National Suppliers to provide a varied and flexible supply services that cover the delivery  of:

1.	Pillar 1: Flexible energy purchasing for gas, non-half-hourly and half-hourly electricity with dedicated account manager or customer service team with consolidated billing opportunity where required;

2.	Pillar 2:. Fixed price, fixed term agreements for gas, non-half-hourly and half-hourly electricity with dedicated account manager or customer service team with consolidated billing opportunity where required.

Interested participants must register a formal expression of interest as prospective tenderers via the Market Dojo portal on or before Friday 19 March 2021.

All Procurement will be run via the Market Dojo e-sourcing portal - https://exceedingsourcing.marketdojo.com/

The procurement process will be conducted electronically via eXceeding Limited's electronic Tender Facility Market Dojo and in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 restricted EU procedure.

BES assists and supports SMEs with relevant, tailored, high-quality advice, acting as a catalyst and enabler of change towards a net zero Scotland. Business Energy Scotland provides free advice and support to Scottish SMEs to save energy, carbon and money. It helps SMEs to improve energy efficiency and decarbonise heating in their premises to realise cost savings, protect profits and safeguard jobs. Since its launch in April 2023, BES has matured into a resilient, high-performing and impactful service that is responsive to the needs of SMEs in Scotland. The service provides a range of in-depth and light support to SMEs based in Scotland and as acts as a gateway service for the Scottish Government’s SME loan and grant scheme (SME loan scheme), whilst also facilitating SMEs to access other funding opportunities from local authorities and regional funding providers. The Scottish Government’s non-domestic advice service Business Energy Scotland (BES) sits alongside the current domestic advice service Home Energy Scotland (HES), creating a single point of initial contact for energy advice, both domestic and non-domestic. Both services are run by Energy Saving Trust.

Procurement of the Development Agreement Related to a Low Carbon Heat Network in the Square Mile

City of London Corporation (“CoLC”) is seeking via this Procurement to select a Heat Network Development Partner to develop the Network and, subject to receipt of the necessary approvals, deliver the Network. It is intended that, as a result of this Procurement, CoLC will enter into a development agreement under which the Heat Network Development Partner (via the special purpose vehicle (the “SPV”) established for development and delivery of the Network) is required to design and develop the Network up until the point at which it is ready to be built, at which point, it will present the project for approval by CoLC. Provided that the project passes this “Approvals Gateway”, CoLC and the Heat Network Development Partner will be required to enter into the Shareholders’ Agreement which will govern the management of the SPV and impose obligations on delivery and operation of the Network. CoLC invests no capital in the SPV and derives no economic benefit as a Shareholder but, holds a “special” or “golden” share in the SPV which allows it certain rights as set out in more detail in the Contractual Documentation. The geographical area for the development and delivery of the Network is bounded by: a) the City of London boundary with Westminster, Camden, and Islington; b) roads including Moorgate, Princes Street, King William Street, and London Bridge; and c) the River Thames.
