Description

NHS England required senior communications services support for the independent review of children and adolescent gender identity services. The chosen provider will provide a series of products and ad hoc support to ensure there is good stakeholder engagement and involvement in place around the review. The main requirements include:

• A communications strategy and delivery plan covering all aspect of the review and stakeholder interaction, including the development of key messages and FAQ.

• Supporting stakeholder management - helping plan stakeholder engagement, advising on risks, and supporting and attending some of the more high profile, but not all, meetings. It will not be necessary to complete a stakeholder mapping exercise as this has already been completed by NHSE/I. It is expected this would average out at around 3-5 meetings a month.

• Support the delivery of the Taskforce's public communication (expected to focus around key milestones and identifying ways for stakeholders to engage with the review), liaising with the Review Team and NHS England communications team as appropriate, especially on handling media.

• Work with the team to plan comms and engagement approach for the launch and publication of the review, any outputs through the life of the project and final report.

• Providing ongoing ad-hoc communications support and advice.

Note as a low value, sub OJEU requirement, this agreement has been contracted on NHS England & Improvement Standard Term & Conditions, Purchase Order version available here: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/681016/NHS_TERMS_AND_CONDITIONS_FOR_THE_PROVISION_OF_SERVICES__PO_VERSION_.docx

Deer Drone surveying Northamptonshire

Natural England is working in conjunction with local partners and land owners to ascertain the deer density and movement routes in the 'project area' in order to allow for greater collaboration between listed partners and a subsequent increase in the numbers of deer culled. Drone surveys are required to understand the density, movements and location of deer herds within the Rockingham Landscape. We will be awarding a contract for Landscape Deer Density surveys in the north of the Rockingham Forest National Character Area. Rockingham Forest National Character Area (NCA) is essentially a broad, low, undulating ridge underlain by Jurassic limestone which falls away from a prominent, steep northern scarp overlooking the Welland Valley. Large areas of woodland remain a significant feature of the landscape and, while not forming continuous belts, the blocks of woodland often coalesce visually with hedgerow trees and smaller copses to increase the perception of extensive woodland cover across the landscape. The landscape is a patchwork of woodland and large- to medium-sized fields of mixed arable with some pastoral use surrounding small nucleated villages. Fields are commonly bounded by well-managed hedgerows with mature trees or drystone walls and display the rectilinear pattern of the enclosures set within a more sinuous pattern of older enclosures, winding lanes and watercourses. The survey and subsequent report need to be completed by 25th March 2025. The expectation is for the drone surveys to be completed between mid-February and mid-March 2025. Additional information: To apply for this opportunity you must submit your quotation meeting the requirements detailed in the Request for Quotation (RFQ) attached. Your response must be sent to [email protected] by 12 midday on 16/12/2024. If you have any clarification questions linked to this opportunity or the procurement process please submit these via email to [email protected]. Please note that, unless commercially sensitive, both the question and the response will be circulated to all tenderers.
