Description
The Mayor's Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC) is seeking a specialist provider to deliver a new Hate Crime Victim Service in London. The service will have a set budget and is designed to complement existing hate crime services rather than supplant them. The provider will set up appropriate referral pathways into the service, a triage service to assess the level of support needed and an advocacy service for the most high-harm, high-need victims. There are five distinct strands of hate crime as defined by the Home Office. They are crimes motivated by: Race, Religion or Faith, Sexual Orientation, Disability Status and Gender/Transgender Identity. The successful provider will be required to deliver specialist services to victims affected by all five strands of hate crimes. Bids from Partnerships and Consortia are welcome. The tender documents can be located via this web address https://procontract.due-north.com/ *** In order to support fair market access to this tender opportunity, MOPAC will offer independent and impartial support for organisations considering submitting a bid or joining a partnerships or consortia bid. The support offer will include two separate elements; an online workshop(s) on the forming and operation of partnerships and consortia, with further, follow-up advice and support while the tender offer is open. The second element will be an independent review of draft bids for the service against the service spec and criteria, for those who wish to avail themselves of this offer. For further details of this support please contact MOPAC using the following email [email protected].
