Description

Northamptonshire Fire & Rescue Service (NFRS) have a requirement for Wellbeing Services for an initial three-year period to support approximately 500 employees.

The tender shall be split into the following lots:

Lot 1 - Basic occupational health
Lot 2 - EAP Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)
Lot 3 - Mental Health Specialist services and wellbeing team training and support
Lot 4 - Fitness Testing Programme
Lot 5 - Sport Therapy & Rehabilitation Services
Lot 6 - Resilience training officers and watches

The occupational health and well-being services are expected to: 
- Be delivered by a team of skilled, appropriately qualified staff.
- Be available within the specified timeframes to support working hours and patterns of staff.
- Provide consistent and reliable advice and support for the Well Being team and staff.
- Provide timely intervention and rehabilitation, including assessing the impact of work on individuals' health, and the impact of the individual's health on their work.
- Contribute to reducing the incidence of illness and injury caused by work.
- Promote well-being.
- Provide an online records management system.
- Assist NFRS in discharging its duties and responsibilities and general support in connection with the occupational health of its employees.
- Measure performance of the service against agreed key performance indicators and provide regular activity reports to NFRS for the purpose of management/Board reports where required.

The Contracting Authority Reserves the right to award the contract(s) for some or all or none of the lots

Birmingham City Council (the Council) is seeking to appoint an organisation for the delivery of Deep Engagement work with Communities of Identity within Birmingham aimed at increasing community health literacy, enhancing community capability for collective control of programme to address health inequalities, bringing community voice (including seldom heard voices) to strategy and policy development addressing health inequalities, and to utilise existing community strengths and capabilities to identify and provide solutions for communities’ health and wellbeing. The contract for the services will commence on 19th January 2026 and will be in place for a period of 1 year with the option to extend for a further 1 year subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.
