Description

We have identified a need for the provision of Functional and Vocational Accredited Training to Participants via a blend of remote and in person delivery. All provision to be available as 'hybrid' delivery.

Additional information: Seetec Pluss delivers Employment Programmes in South West England. 
We provide tailored support to help Participants get back into work. We undertake a personal assessment and support to identify goals, develop a return-to-work plan and access additional help if needed. For example, mental health, or wellbeing support.

Please note more than one contract could be awarded within the cost envelope.

Contracts will be issued on a maximum fixed amount, with a detailed specification based on the offer agreed.

Expressions of Interests will be required to:
• Outline and evidence your experience in delivering the services outlined above
• Illustrate your proposed delivery which meets the minimum requirements
• Provide an indicative price

This will be used to shortlist partners for evaluation and due diligence before any contract award is made.

Due to the nature of our delivery, we are seeking Intervention Partners to meet the demand for self-employment support. The provision will support our participants across England. Seetec require a provider who can deliver tailored self-employment support to our participants who are unemployed/economically inactive and need support to help them start or grow their businesses. The self-employment support should include: - 121 meetings with a business advisor - Creating a tailored action plan and business plan to suit the participants unique needs and goals - Assistance with business registration - Guidance on completing tax returns - Support with navigating Universal Credit for the self-employed - In work support for the participant once their business is up and running - A range or workshops to support with: - Business planning - Marketing - Social media (Tik Tok, Facebook, Instagram etc.) - Websites & domains - Business finances - Understanding self-employment Ideally with this support should include a mix of face-to-face delivery with the business advisor and wrap around online support as well. The participants should receive support for 6-12 months to ensure they can start and grow their business and can sustain their self-employment. The successful Bidder will need to work closely with Seetec's validation team to confirm participants' job outcomes. Seetec hold contracts across several government departments, spanning multiple geographies across the Southwest, East of England, Midlands, Northwest and London. The provider must be able to deliver, as a minimum, across the Southwest. Additional information: Seetec reserves the right to award the contract to one or more providers depending on the applications received and the successful providers will be included onto our database of Intervention Partners. Payment Mechanism: Spot purchase basis with no guaranteed volumes. Seetec Contracting entity: Seetec Business Technology Centre (SBTC) This procurement is to deliver services across England for participants on Seetec's employability programmes. Birmingham Virtual School Training Services Flexible Contracting Agreement (FCA)

Birmingham City Council (the "Council") wishes to establish a Flexible Contracting Agreement (FCA) for Birmingham Virtual School (BVS) Training Services in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023, applying the provisions for Light Touch Contracts as defined in Section 9 of the Act and Schedule 1 of the Procurement Regulations 2024. These provisions apply to certain social, health, and education services that are subject to more flexible procurement rules due to their direct impact on individuals and communities. The Training FCA will cover training for professionals in children's schools, social workers, families, carers, and other key stakeholders in Birmingham and any other local authorities where children may be placed. The Training FCA will serve as the primary channel for delivering training tailored to the needs of adults responsible for supporting the educational achievement of children known to a social worker. The programme is designed to equip these individuals including BVS staff, carers, guardians, adoptive parents, designated teachers, school staff, governors, social workers, and Independent Reviewing Officers (IROs) with the essential knowledge and skills required to effectively promote the educational outcomes of children in care, previously looked after, or otherwise known to social services. The contract(s) being procured have been split into Lots, as follows. Lot 1: Training for staff at educational establishments and other professionals Lot 2: Training for Social Care Professionals Lot 3: Training for Parents, Carers and Family Members The Council reserves the right to reopen the procurement and conduct additional tender processes during the term of the FCA.
