Description

Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council (NuLBC) [the Council] is working with Stoke-on-Trent City Council to prepare a new Joint Local Plan to replace the existing Joint Core Spatial Strategy. As part of the preparation of the evidence base to inform the new Joint Local Plan, the Council is seeking to commission updates of the 2017 Open Space Strategy and the 2017 Green Infrastructure Strategy. The updates must be undertaken in accordance with national policy guidance detailed in the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF), for example at Paragraphs 96-101; Planning Practice Guidance (PPG) and associated HM Government policy including 'A Green Future: Our 25 Year Plan to Improve the Environment'.
