Description

EKFB seek EOI's from interested parties for the Hire of Siltbusters (Option for disposal of waste arising) & Water Pumps in the form of a call-off framework agreement to support the delivery of our C23 HS2 project. The 5 areas for delivery are North Chilterns Area (NCA), Aylesbury Area (AA), Calvert Area (CA), Twyford to Greatworth (T2G) and Greatworth to Southam (G2S).
      
      EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. Our scope of the works includes 15 viaducts, 6.9km of green tunnels, 22km of road diversions, 81 bridges and around 30 million cubic metres of excavation. 
      
      EKFB may look to award multiple frameworks to suit geographical capability dependant on the response to this EOI, in support of SME's and Local Businesses.

Civil Engineering & Infrastructure Works

NEPO is seeking to establish a multi-contractor, multi-lot framework agreement for civil engineering and infrastructure works. It is anticipated that places of the resultant framework agreement will be awarded to a maximum of 6 primary suppliers and up to 4 contingency suppliers for lots 4,5,6,7,8,9 & 11, lots 1, 2 and 3 will be awarded to a maximum of 8 primary suppliers and 4 contingency suppliers and Lot 10 will be awarded to a single supplier. Lots are categorised according to the project value and the geographical location of the project. Suppliers are required to tender in accordance with the criteria as stipulated for each individual lots. Suppliers will be awarded positions on the framework agreement by applying their tendered ranked combined scores for quality and price against the published evaluation criteria. This framework agreement provides a diverse range of civil engineering and/or infrastructure works. This can include individual projects, or programmes of work including: • Capital highway/ infrastructure projects. • Civils construction projects. • Local road improvement / remodelling schemes. • Groundworks and land remediation. • Enabling works. • Drainage works. • Public realm works including paving. • Repair, maintenance or restoration of structures. • Flood and coastal risk management projects. • Structures over or adjacent to significant watercourses. • Civil Engineering in a marine environment including marine structures. • Light rail and associated infrastructure schemes. • Flood resilience schemes. This list is not exhaustive and is intended to provide a general overview of the types of works that may be awarded. Due to the nature of civil engineering and infrastructure there may also be services provided under this framework agreement. All works awarded will be at the discretion of the contracting authority and their internal procedures. The opportunity can be accessed via the Open eTendering system.
