Description

The Heritage Fund is looking to appoint an innovation support partner to provide a tailored programme of non-financial support for heritage organisations as part of a future pilot initiative.

As part of our wider work to bolster cross-sector recovery and long-term resilience, this forthcoming innovation programme will seek to help UK heritage to explore, develop and test new approaches that have the potential to respond to long-range heritage workforce challenges. Discovery research which engaged with sector representatives evidenced workforce challenges as a consistent, persistent, and widespread theme across all heritage sectors with clear opportunities to experiment with new models of working and thinking.

As the first step, we want to provide experimenting practitioners from any sphere of UK heritage with a structured programme of support providing access to the time, skills, learning and peer support needed to stimulate and incubate new ideas for future heritage working practices. 
This initial commission spans two phases:
•	Pre-application workshops (May and October 2022) 
•	Cohort content design and facilitation across the two cohorts (August 2022 - June 2023)
NB: We anticipate two cohorts consisting of approximately 17 organisations (34 in total), will be awarded pilot funding by the Heritage Fund. Each cohort will work intensively with the innovation support partner over the initial 6 month period of their grant so that they are prepared and ready to prototype and test their ideas if further funding is secured.

Development of West Yorkshire Creative Health System

The West Yorkshire Combined Authority (the CA) is issuing this Planned Procurement Notice to inform potential Consultants of an upcoming procurement opportunity for the development and implementation of a West Yorkshire Creative Health System. This system aims to align, amplify, and connect the creative health sector across the region to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for the people of West Yorkshire. The CA intends to procure a service provider (or consortium) to manage and implement a ‘Creative Health System’ for a two-year period. The maximum budget for the initial two-year period is £470,000.00 with up to two optional 12-month extensions of £235,000.00 each, bringing the total potential contract value up to £940,000.00. Extensions are subject to the availability of additional funds beyond the initial £470,000.00 and are at the sole discretion of the Public Sector Body. Key deliverables for the Creative Health System include: • Coordinating the mapping of creative health work taking place in our region (including activity, evidence of impact, and cold spots). This will include the collation of existing mapping data where it exists (typically at a Local Authority level) and commissioning additional mapping where there is insufficient data. • Establishing a network of creative health activity providers. • Advocating for creative health activity with key decision-makers (including funders and clinicians). • Developing and publishing a West Yorkshire Creative Health Strategy. • Co-designing creative health programmes with community providers and those with lived experience. • Researching potential funding sources and preparing funding bids to roll out impactful creative health programmes. • Developing commercial strategy to become self-sustaining. • Coordinating workforce training in the health care system and with practitioners. LOCAL AREA ENERGY PLAN FOR NORTH NORTHAMPTONSHIRE

The purpose of the commission is to advance the Net Zero goals and ambitions of North Northamptonshire. North Northamptonshire Council (NNC) are looking to appoint a suitably qualified consultant to produce a Local Area Energy Plan (LAEP) for North Northants. The LAEP will be an integral part of the Roadmap to Net Zero Action Plan and new Local Plan for the North Northants area. This energy strategy is critical as it will underpin the Council's climate emergency response and act as a framework to inform policy, planning, investment, and wider collaboration with key stakeholders to deliver Net Zero targets, including through the Big50 initiative. The LAEP should include a comprehensive emissions assessment of the built environment (all categories of domestic, non-domestic, commercial, and industrial buildings) and relevant aspects of the transport sector; science-based targets for emissions reduction, to include interim milestones and sector-specific targets. This includes both existing and planned development and other proposals. It will integrate insights from the North Northamptonshire to Net Zero (NN2NZ) project and the Local Plan evidence base and should be produced in conjunction with key stakeholders from the energy sector. NNC has procured baseline Net Zero data from the Energy System Catapult, the successful Supplier will be expected to use this data which pertains to stages 1-3 of the LAEP. Funding of up to £85,000 is available to support the creation of the LAEP, including stakeholder engagement. The contract will comprise an eight-month delivery programme.
