Description

NHS North East London CCG (hereafter referred to as "the Authority") is seeking to commission a Mental Health Individual Placement Service and Employment Support Service ("the Services") in North East London CCG Boroughs covered within Barking & Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge (BHR), Newham and Waltham Forest (WF) regions.  

The aim of this Mental Health Individual Placement Service and Mental Health employment service is to support people to gain appropriate employment. The provider of this service will offer an open, flexible and responsive range of opportunities to people who have SMI. A wide range of approaches and interventions will be offered by the successful organisation. The service will deliver person-centred support to adults with SMI to gain paid employment. 

The procurement is split into two Lots with an additional multi-lot option combining the two Lots. Lot 1 is for Mental Health Individual Placement Service and Employment Support Service in BHR and WF whilst Lot 2 is for Mental Health Individual Placement Service and Employment Support Service in Newham.

Local Healthwatch Services for East Berkshire

Slough Borough Council, Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and Bracknell Forest Council (East Berkshire) are tendering for a provision of a Local Healthwatch Service for East Berkshire. The service will cover all three local authority areas under a partnership arrangement with Slough Borough Council being the lead contracting authority. Local Healthwatch Service (LHW) is the independent consumer champion for health and social care on the local level. It: • Represents the collective voice of residents, patients, carers and the public (including children and young people) to commissioners, service providers and local politicians• Acts as a focal point for the local community to have a voice in the commissioning and provision of health and social care• Provides opportunities for local people of all ages to influence decisions being made about their services, across the NHS and social care. Slough, the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead (RBWM) and Bracknell Forest are unitary authorities in Berkshire, South East England, at the heart of the Thames Valley. These three unitary authorities are located within the Frimley Integrated Care System (ICS). The contract duration will be for three years with an option to extend for one + one year(s) (3+1+1). Wiltshire Council recognises the impact that poor mental health can have on an individuals’ ability to maintain employment and acknowledges the need for new and innovative approaches to improve mental health in the workplace. Sustaining Work will focus on employees in the workplace who are struggling with their mental health and wellbeing by providing support and interventions that will reduce the risk of them not being able to sustain working lives. To focus on mental ill-health support for employers and employees with mental ill-health interventions and learning and development opportunities to help people achieve regular incomes and sustain work. It is recognised that to do this innovative approaches are required to improve mental health in the workplace. The service will primarily be aimed at businesses in Wiltshire, with a focus on small and micro businesses that may not have the internal infrastructure, such as a HR department or an occupational health team, to support staff in this way.
