VCFS Infrastructure Development Contract 2025-2027

Newham Council is seeking a dynamic and experienced provider to lead the delivery of infrastructure services for the borough’s Voluntary, Community and Faith Sector (VCFS). This two-year contract represents a key investment in strengthening the borough’s VCFS ecosystem - building the sector’s capacity, boosting productivity, and supporting long-term sustainability. Project Plan and methodology: Clarity, feasibility, and creativity of the proposed approach. Budget: Value for money and clear justification of costs. Understanding of local context: Demonstrated understanding of the challenges faced by global majority/ethnically diverse organisations in Newham. Commitment to equity: Demonstrated commitment to addressing racism, inequality, and disproportionality through the programme. Lot 2 - Engagement and Capacity Building for Faith-Based organisations in Newham Bidder proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria: Experience and expertise: Proven track record in working with faith-based organisations, particularly in the VCF sector. Project plan and methodology: Clarity, feasibility, and creativity of the proposed approach. Budget: Value for money and clear justification of costs. Understanding of local context: Demonstrated understanding of the challenges faced by faith-based organisations in Newham. Commitment to inclusion: Demonstrated commitment to engaging a diverse range of faith-based organisations and addressing their specific needs. Lot 3- Digitising Pathways of Support for Voluntary, Community, and Faith (VCF) Organisations in Newham Bidder proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria: Experience and expertise: Proven track record in developing digital tools and pathways, particularly in the VCF sector. Project plan and methodology: Clarity, feasibility, and creativity of the proposed approach. Budget: Value for money and clear justification of costs. Understanding of local context: Demonstrated understanding of the challenges faced by VCF organisations in Newham. User-centred design: Commitment to involving VCF organisations in the design and testing process to ensure the final product meets their needs. CCS034 Children In Care Provision (D2N2) - Fostering Placements

This is a Framework opportunity for all OFSTED registered Fostering providers to support the D2N2 (Derbyshire, Derby City, Nottinghamshire and Nottingham City Councils) collaborative in delivery of good quality, stable and local placements to our Children in Care. Together D2N2 represent: 1772 children and young people 0-18 years in Foster Care. D2N2 is working together to optimise the commissioning of placement provision for their children in care and want to continue to develop new local arrangements as sought on the D2N2 framework 2020-2026. There is a continuing ambition for a collaborative approach, meeting the needs of all stakeholders including children and young people, providers and placing local authorities. D2N2 has worked together for some time in relation to our provision of fostering placements for Children in Care. Through this connection D2N2 recognised shared challenges, gaps in provision and common needs amongst the collective Children in Care population, and the need of a combined approach and closer coordination across our area.
