Description

The Legal Services and Monitoring Officer services are offered for tender in two lots;
      
      Lot 1
      
      The South Downs National Park Authority (SDNPA) seeks to engage a contractor who is able to provide quality legal services and advice with particular expertise in planning and local government legislation and issues. It is not possible to guarantee the total quantity and balance of work, which will fluctuate throughout the contract period and in the light of changes to resources and governance arrangements. 
      
      Lot 2
      
      The Monitoring Officer is a statutory appointment pursuant to Section 5 of the Local Government and Housing Act 1989 ("the Act"). 
      
      It will be the responsibility of the Monitoring Officer to appoint a deputy.  The Deputy Monitoring Officer shall discharge the duties and responsibilities of the Monitoring Officer when the Monitoring Officer is absent.
