Description

Staffordshire University Academies Trust (SUAT) is a Multi Academy Trust which currently consists of twenty schools, of which there is one secondary school nineteen primary schools across Staffordshire; the Trust head offices are based in Stoke on Trent.

SUAT has over 3,500 pupils and employs over 700 members of staff.
SUAT promotes high aspirations and excellence for all. Our aim is to develop a strong partnership between the academies, pupils, and the wider community in order to secure an outstanding learning experience for everyone.  We have high expectations and strive to create independent learners fit for the demands of the 21st Century.

Providing school buildings which are cleaned to high quality standard via a sustainable and affordable solution are crucial in supporting the learning and working environments and welfare of our pupils and staff, and to support better outcomes for all.

We're looking to work with an organisation who will collaborate with SUAT and the Academies in relation to cleaning services, to explore effective and efficient solutions together but also to learn about the different offerings that you will bring. We are looking for a professional relationship with a provider who will support us, continually grow and develop their offering, and contribute their expertise to ensure that we feel proud of our school buildings and that each Academy is supported to serve its learning community in a hygienic and healthy environment.

We are running this further competition via the Crown Commercial Services cleaning services DPS, to outsource the cleaning services of eighteen academies in our Trust - https://www.crowncommercial.gov.uk/agreements/RM6130

The preferred Lot for award is under sub-Lot 2A which is evaluated within the budget available, so any bid under this Lot must be priced within the available budget described below. Lot 2B will only be considered where there are no quality proposals under Lot A that meet the minimum standards required. Lot 3: 50% Geographical split of cleaning of communal areas in flat blocks (including specification for adhoc deep cleans and other adhoc requirements).
