Description

The contract has been awarded to The Doctor Hickey Surgery following market engagement to invite capable providers. The Doctor Hickey Surgery has been established as the only capable provider.

The contract is for a specialist GP service, delivering clinical support to Westminster's homeless population.
The overarching outcome of the service is to reduce health inequalities and increase life expectancy, for the homeless population. 

This will be achieved by providing trauma- informed care that enables homeless patients to access healthcare services and, prevents avoidable emergency presentation at A&E, and non-elective admissions to secondary care.

Restorative Justice Services, South Yorkshire

This opportunity is for a provider of a Restorative Justice Service. This procurement is being jointly commissioned by the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority ( SYMCA) and the Probation Service Yorkshire and the Humber (PS-YatH) with South Yorkshire MCA taking the lead. Following the Mayoral election in May 2024, the Mayor took on the functions of the Police and Crime Commissioner. These functions include listening to the needs of communities, securing victim support services, setting the objectives for the police force, and holding the Chief Constable to account. The SYMCA is looking to commission a Restorative Justice Service, embracing the concept of: Bringing those harmed by crime, and those responsible for that harm, into communication with each other. This service can offer victims the opportunity to be heard, to ask questions of the offender, and to have their say in the resolution, including agreeing rehabilitative or reparative activity for the offender with the victim, following direct contact between them. It can provide a means of closure and enable the victim to move on. It has a proven, significant impact in supporting victims in achieving closure by allowing them to continue with their lives. Restorative Justice also provides an opportunity for offenders to face the consequences of their actions, recognise the impact that it has had upon others and where possible make amends. In this way, Restorative Justice has the potential to help rehabilitate offenders and enable them to stop / reduce offending. Restorative Justice can be used for any type of crime and at any stage of the criminal justice process including alongside a prison sentence. UK Power Networks Customer Vulnerability Enduring Partnerships

As part of its RIIO-ED2 commitments, UK Power Networks (UKPN) has developed an ambitious strategy to support vulnerable customers beyond its core responsibilities as a Distribution Network Operator (DNO). This includes tackling fuel poverty and ensuring that no one is left behind in the transition to a net zero future. UKPN has set a target to assist 100,000 vulnerable customers per regulatory year, with an overall ED2 Net Present Value (NPV) target of £10.94 million. Alongside these commitments, we uphold the importance of delivering outstanding customer service, expecting partners to maintain high customer satisfaction levels (CSAT) exceeding 94%. UK Power Networks are looking for trusted partners with a focus on Consumer Vulnerability support services. We require partners who can work with the UK Power Networks' Customer Vulnerability team to target specific activities or groups of customers, as identified through data analysis. Projects will be expected to comprise of services that provide targeted support to fuel poor customers, and which deliver against our targets. These services should include: • Non-in-depth advice • In-depth advice to customers who may be in or at risk of being in fuel poverty • Wider and more enduring support The full scope and specifications of the services can be found in Appendix 2.

Community Rehabilitation Programme

Community rehabilitation is a vital component of our local drug and alcohol support offer for individuals whose lives are impacted by substance use. It provides an alternative to residential rehabilitation, ensuring that people who are unable to live away from home can still access a specialist, structured, and intensive package of abstinence-based support. The service will provide a abstinence-based, structured programme based on the 12-step model in line with national guidance that meets the criteria for the National Drug Treatment Monitoring System and relevant guidelines, delivering: • Psychosocial interventions • Peer and mutual aid support and access to groups which forms a large part of the programme and aftercare, particularly as people will then complete the remaining steps in the community • Support with housing, employment, education, and family support • It will promote continuity of care, including pre-treatment, relapse support, and up to one year of continuing support The programme aligns with Newcastle's Recovery Framework and national priorities to expand community-based rehab options alongside access to residential rehabilitation. The aim of the service is to build recovery and social capital, linking with local recovery support and fellowship groups to support aftercare from the programme for continuation of the Steps of the fellowship.
