Description

North Yorkshire County Council (the Council) are seeking a specialist supplier in order to procure a comprehensive lone worker solution, including alarm receiving centre and management information portal. The solution will support the Council’s obligations to ensure the health, safety and welfare of staff undertaking lone worker activities.   The Council are undertaking this procurement; however, tenderers should note that there is currently a process of local government reorganisation underway in North Yorkshire. From 1 April 2023 North Yorkshire County Council and the seven district and borough councils in North Yorkshire will have merged to become the new legal entity of North Yorkshire Council. The Council are undertaking this procurement on behalf of North Yorkshire Council.

BlueLight Commercial are looking to establish a national multi-supplier framework for the provision of Covert Management Systems. The Framework Agreement will be available for use by all UK Police Forces and other agencies, the participants are named in the ITT documentation. The systems are required to support: • Core Module - end-to-end planning, authorisation, risk management, product handling and oversight of covert operations, • Prison Surveillance - enabling request and retrieval of material held in the prison network, • Protected Person Management - for the management of individuals under protection e.g. witnesses, judges, jurors, officers and family members, • Surveillance Operations Management, • Undercover Operations Management, • Covert Human Intelligence Source (CHIS) handling, • Communications Authority Management, • Technical Support Unit (TSU) Support. This will be for a period of four (4) years.

Personal Safety Device Framework

Suffolk County Council wishes to procure a single vendor framework for Personal Safety Devices. The Framework will be available for use by Suffolk County Council, including any trading organisations wholly owned by the Council; arm's length bodies established by the Council and other public contracting authorities within the UK, including but not limited to: district and borough councils; Mayoral Authorities; Unitary Authorities; County Councils; Police; Fire and Rescue Services; Ambulance Services, Probation Service; Health Authorities; Voluntary and Community Sector; Higher and Further Educational establishments; Schools; Free schools, Academies and Pupil Referral Units. The contract is for the provision of a monitored Lone Worker and Personal Safety solution, with devices that allow actuations with appropriate intervention as required, assisting staff in carrying out their duties safely, and minimising additional risks associated with working alone. The aim is to provide maximum flexibility for SCC and any other organisations who may choose to use the Framework, in ensuring the personal safety of its employees. We require a range of devices and solutions that can be used by individuals who have differing risk levels in the delivery of their duties. We require devices and solutions that are easy to use and have proportionate escalation methods and routes. WATER QUALITY MONITORING SERVICE/ Legionella Control Management Programme

Mid Ulster District Council wishes to appoint a suitably experienced and competent contractor to assist in monitoring the legionella risks across the Council's estate. The Council engages in the usual range of Local Government activity, including Leisure Services, Community Services, Parks and Open Spaces, Tourism, Cultural Facilities, Refuse Collection, Street Cleansing, Environment Health, Burial Grounds, Public Conveniences, Administration, Employment, Finance, Economic Development and Building Control amongst others. This requires the provision of approximately 110 buildings/facilities across the Council area, ranging from Public Conveniences to large Leisure and Administrative Centres. The contractor will develop a written scheme to control the risk and will assist in managing the implementation of the assessments. The contractor will also ensure the safe and correct operation of the system implemented, and that a process of checks and monitoring are introduced to ensure the risks are managed. The successful contractor must ensure that the works and components thereof comply with all recommendations, requirements and current editions of the following (as amended): • Health and Safety at Work (NI) Order 1978 • Management of Health and Safety at Work (NI) Regulations 2003 • Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (NI) Regulations 2002 • Code of Practice (ACOP) L8 and HSG274
