Supply and Installation of Pump track at South Park wheeled sports area
1.    Overall Scope
The Council is seeking to provide a new pump track that enhances the site, encourages users to engage in physical activity and promote good health and wellbeing. 
The aim is to replace the existing dirt track with a concrete or similar pump track. The Track will play a fundamental role in providing an accessible space for Wheeled sports users to learn and develop skills, as well as valuable opportunities to exercise, socialise and be creative, where possible the installation must meet the obligations under the Equality Act 2010
2.    Location
The BMX park is located on Sandcross lane, Reigate, Surrey, RH28HG
.The current site is approximately 930m2. The perimeter of the site is approximately 157 linear meters
A utility search has been done on the location and there are no concerns regarding excavation works, a copy of these are available upon request.
3.    South Park BMX, redesign requirements: 
i.    Access for all and discharging obligations under the Equality Act 2010  
ii.    The pump track must comply with BSEN 14974 as well as other relevant industry standards and best practice guidelines.
iii.    The track should be made from concrete or a similar alternative
iv.    Good access for maintenance.
v.    The design shall include appropriate seating areas.  
vi.    The track installed should be cost effective to maintain. 
vii.    The track should cater for all abilities 
viii.    The track shall be laid out to allow adult supervision of younger children in the area of play

Install a range of exercise equipment to promote exercise for adult park users which will work a range of muscle groups and have resistance options to cater for all levels of fitness in line with consultation outcomes outlined in tender pack Fully galvanised - hot dipped, not just painted. No timber products. Fire-resistant. Install a low-level barrier to the east of the gym area to distinguish the adult gym area from the children's play area. Ensure complicity with demarcation recommendations regarding its 15m proximity to the children's play area. See BS EN 16630. Install signage to meet safety regulations. The site is open and accessible all year around - visits to site are welcome. Contractors are welcome to visit at any time.
