The works comprise the refurbishment and waterproofing of the existing sub-basement areas, including associated builders' works, drainage, mechanical, and electrical installations. The scope includes (but is not limited to): Careful strip-out and preparation of existing finishes to expose the underlying structure. Installation of a proprietary cavity drain and damp proof membrane system to walls and floors, complete with fixings, plugs, drainage channels, and connection to existing sump pits. Formation of new internal partitions, raised access flooring, ceilings, joinery, and decorations as required to reinstate the area following waterproofing works. Adjustment, modification, or reinstatement of existing building services affected by the works, including power, lighting, fire detection, and PAVA systems. Coordination with the Landlord's Facilities Management team and other ongoing building operations to ensure secure access, minimal disruption, and full compliance with Canada House site protocols.
