Description

The object of the provision is to ensure the gas installations at each of the properties listed in the Property Portfolio are safe and conform to the current 'Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations.
The gas supply installation at each property, including the ventilation requirements, will be inspected and tested for compliance with the current British Standards or equivalent and any relevant Codes of Practice and a written Gas Tightness Report produced to detail these findings.
The visit will include a visual examination of the gas supply installation and a Gas Tightness Test of all the gas pipework at each property from the transporters meter to each appliance isolation valve. Where installed the ventilation on plant rooms and kitchens  will be tested for efficacy.
The gas supply installation at each property has to be tested and inspected at 5 year intervals so each property will receive one visit during the framework. 
Please note this is a Single Supplier Framework.

University of Chester is seeking tenders through the 2 Stage Restricted Tender Procedure under The Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and The Public Procurement (Amendment etc.) (EU Exit) Regulations 2020 for the provision of Gas fired boilers, Water Heaters, and Pressurisation Units PPM servicing and Reactive Maintenance throughout its sites. The services required are for all reactive and planned preventative maintenance at the University of Chester's following sites: Chester- Exton Park - Parkgate Road, Wheeler, Creative Campus - Kingsway, Queens Park, Gateway House, plus multiple accommodation properties across Chester. Warrington - Time Square, Sarah Parker Remond Birkenhead- Marriss House The service covers maintenance for all gas fired boiler and water heaters, as well as pumps/plate/plate heat exchangers.
