This is notice of an opportunity to supply 8 x 20-man type S30 SOLAS A Pack life rafts complete with Hydrostatic release units, in respect of:- a. HMC Seeker b. HMC Searcher c. HMC Vigilant d. HMC Valiant Onboard life rafts (2 x life rafts per Cutter) The contract will be required to be in place by March 2026. This notice is issued to enable potential bidders to prepare for, and bid for this work. The requirement will include: - a. Rental supply of 8 x 20-man Type S30 SOLAS A pack cylindrical hard case life rafts b. Service/exchange of the above life rafts every 30 months. c. Supply of replacement life raft upon: - 1. Activation of a life raft within the 30-month service life 2. Failure of a life raft to pass the annual CO2 test for continued service d. Include all transportation costs to nominated UK ports. e. Able to supply upon request service/exchange life rafts outwit the UK. f. Supply of logbooks to record annual inspections g. Training in the annual CO2 test h. Supply 8 x Hydrostatic Release Units every 24 months The Buyer intends to establish a contract for an initial term of three (3) years, with the option to extend for two additional one (1) year periods (3+1+1), subject to ongoing requirements and satisfactory performance for the supply and service/exchange of liferafts for 4 Cutters. Thames Water wishes to award one framework agreement to suppliers capable of project design, building renovations, remedial works and/or the provision and maintenance of welfare cabins. Due to the varying age of buildings and structures within the Thames Water estate, there is need to carry out renovation and remedial works in order to ensure they remain safe and fit for purpose. The Framework Agreement will cover the following works: Consultancy (Project Design), Internal & External Works (London area), Internal & External Works (Thames Valley and Home Counties), Roofing, Asbestos Consulting, Asbestos Treatment and Welfare Cabins. Thames Water reserve the right to issue multiple awards for each lot in this agreement to achieve the most efficient and economical service solution, and the security and consistent continuity of supply and delivery. Thames Water reserve the right to enter into a contract or contracts for the provision of all or any number of lots. In parallel, although on a slightly different timetable, Thames Water is also running a procurement exercise for facilities management services whereby there are some common areas of work with this procurement exercise. Thames Water reserves the right to refine the award criteria. Please note that that deadline for asking for access to the PSQ & submitting of the PSQ is Friday 16th January 2026, at 10 am.
